Sometimes Savior

She watched him walk away

there was nothing more to say.

Let him go, she said

She'd let him have his head

Well, you can't win if you don't play

But she hates the losin' just the same

Endless nights in empty rooms

An empty glass and old love tunes

Silent, staring into space

Suddenly she sees his face

No

Says he's coming back for good

She only wishes that he would

But someday he'll run away from her

Oh this sometimes savior

Another night she's getting older

wishing she could cry on his shoulder

All that glitters isn't gold

at least that's how the story goes

This once-rich love has lost its flavor

Oooohhh this sometimes savior

He left again today

as the tears rolled down her face

She hopes that he's gone for good

She'd turn her back if she only could

How she wants someone to save her

Oh this sometimes savior

Another night she's getting older

wishing she could cry on his shoulder

All that glitters isn't gold

at least that's how the story goes

This once-rich love has lost its flavor

Oooohhh this sometimes savior

How she wants someone

I said, oh god she needs someone

Oooohhh This sometimes savior

How she wants someone

I said, oh god she needs someone

Oooohhh This sometimes savior

He left again today
